Public Relations Officer

Spring Educational Society seeks a dynamic PR Officer to manage public communications, promote programs, and build our image. Must be a strong communicator passionate about adult education and community engagement.
Job Description
Spring Educational Society is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Public Relations Officer. This role is responsible for building and maintaining a positive image of SES, promoting programs and initiatives, and managing communications between the institution and the public. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a passion for adult education and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote adult education programs.
• Foster strong relationships with community leaders, partners, stakeholders, and media outlets.
• Organize and promote events, workshops, and public awareness campaigns.
• Prepare press releases, newsletters, brochures, and digital content tailored to the target audience.
• Act as the spokesperson during media interactions and public events.
• Monitor public perception and manage any communication crises with professionalism.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
• Maintain a database of contacts, media coverage, and promotional materials.
• Gather feedback from students, staff, and the public to improve outreach strategies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience in a public relations or communications role, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Turkish.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of adult education challenges and cultural sensitivities related to adult learners.
• Proficiency in social media platforms, Microsoft Office, and basic design tools is an advantage.
